'Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Spoilers: Salvatore Brothers To Reunite, Episode 1 Synopsis Teases Tyler's Anger Control Tested And Jeremy's Self-Destruction

The released synopsis for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6, episode 1 titled "I'll Remember" revealed what the characters will be up to when they return a couple of months after the tragic events that happened in the fifth season finale of the CW TV series. TVD star Ian Somerhalder teased as well that his character, Damon Salvatore, will reunite with his brother, Stefan (Paul Wesley) in the upcoming new season.

According to the lengthy synopsis in a Wet Paint report, "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 will kick off four months after the collapse of the Other Side with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) stuck in it. Elena (Nina Dobrev) will return to Whitmore College for her sophomore year while her best friend, Caroline (Candice Accola), becomes desperate in finding a way to undo the anti-magic spell that the Travellers cast on Mystic Falls in the previous season.

Furthermore, Caroline becomes frustrated with Stefan (Paul Wesley) because he is not answering her phone calls. Meanwhile, Tyler (Michael Trevino) must learn to control his anger during a run-in at a football tailgate so his werewolf gene will not be triggered again.

Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis) will be struggling with his new life after returning from the Other Side. The Original vampire will also meet a beautiful doctor named Jo at the university hospital.

As for Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen), Matt (Zach Roerig) becomes worried that his friend will deal with Bonnie's death in a self-destructive way. Lastly, Elena will be shocked with what Stefan has been really up to since everybody thinks the younger Salvatore left town to find a way that could bring Damon and Bonnie back.

A released promo video showed that Stefan left Mystic Falls and distanced himself from his friends because of what happened to his brother. The promo video also showed that Stefan found a new home and a new love interest in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6.

However, actor Ian Somerhalder teased in an Entertainment Weekly report that the Salvatore brothers will reunite soon in the upcoming new season of the CW TV series. "I had some really great scenes with Paul not too long ago, like last week. You definitely see some great stuff with those boys. It's good when they're not at one another's throats," the 35-year-old heartthrob actor shared.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 is scheduled to premiere on Thursday night, Oct. 2, at 8 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
