Verizon is offering the Verizon branded New Moto X (2014) on sale. On a 2 year contract the Moto X will cost just $49.99. Other carriers and the Pure Edition will offer the phone without contract and unlocked and will cost $499.99. This is a very good bargain from Verizon and is offered for a limited time period.
The specifications of the new Moto X 2014 is an improvement over the previous generation of Moto X. The device is 5.2 inches AMOLED, 1080p Full HD 1920x1080 display with 423 pixels per inch. It also has the Corning Gorilla Glass III that is waterproof and scratch resistant. The Moto X runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat and will also get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocking at 2.5 GHz with Adreno 330 including 2 GB of RAM. The battery capacity is 2,300 mAh. This handset is updated with a 13 mega pixel camera which is a major improvement from the previous generation of Moto X.
The new price of $499.99 is without contract and is priced as such because of the updated size and specification of the Moto X (2014).
