Victoria Beckham has been named as the Most Inspirational Woman of the Decade in Fashion industry. The 40-year-old style icon and fashion designer beat out Kate Moss, Stella McCartney and Mary Portas to bag the title, based on a survey conducted by a popular British magazine. Her designs have been successfully worn by popular Hollywood A-listers including Sarah Jessica Parker, Oprah Winfrey and Gwyneth Paltrow.

"Ten years ago, we knew Victoria as a Spice Girl and one half of an A-list power couple. She made no secret of her love for fashion but was known for wearing, not creating it," Grazia editor-in-chief Jane Burton is quoted as saying by The Sydney Morning Herald. Victoria started her career as a singer with an all girl band “Spice Girls” in 1994 but ventured on to become a solo singer by 2005. She also appeared in a number of reality television series but success did not come her way until she became a fashion designer.

After working with the likes of Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli she created a denim line called VB Rocks for Rock and Republic in 2004. She also came out with her own denim label DVB Style in 2006. The wife of ex-footballer David Beckham then launched her exclusive fashion label in 2008 and it became a huge hit with celebrities. The former Posh Spice now owns a brick and mortar store at Dover Street in London and her designs are also featured in New York and London fashion weeks. Victoria's label also won Best Brand at the 2014 British Fashion Awards in December, 2014.

Grazia magazine is celebrating its tenth year anniversary and has come out with a list of Decade's Most Inspirations Women in all fields. The magazine has chosen actress Emma Watson to be the most inspirational woman in the field of Entertainment, while actor/writer Lena Dunham bags the spot for being the most inspirational woman in Culture. Pakistani teenage activist Malala Yousafzai has been called inspirational in their field of Politics while British athlete Jessica Ennis-Hill has bagged the same spot in Sports category.
