Video of Hairless Rescued Dog Dancing Goes Viral on Facebook [Video]
We have seen it before. This is not the first time we are going to see a dog dancing in Gangnam Style. There are several YouTube videos which have already drawn attention. However, there is something uncannily attractive about the hairless dog dancing. It is infectiously cute. As a result, the video of a bald dog dancing on a fluorescent green chair has gone viral.
The dog apparently belongs to Bald Is Beautiful Hairless and Small Breed Rescue, Inc. It is an organisation based in Greenville, SC. The video was originally posted on the Facebook Page of the organisation. You can watch the original version of the video HERE. BIBHSBR often posts such fun-filled videos on the page. It actually works for finding home for rescued dogs.
The original Facebook video which was posted on Jan 18 became an instant hit as it was shared over 68,000 times when last checked. The video has a simple caption: "a 'warm-up' dance! by Nathan". Nathan seems to have won thousands of hearts already with his dance moves.
Several Facebook users responded quite positively to the video. Darlene S. Head wrote: "This dog has the moves". Annie Conkey Johnson called it "the itchy back dance". Yvonne A Auguste thought: "Now this is talent the move of a Disco dog village group". Marie Godwin wrote: "I love to watch this wonderful dog dance.....".
According to the official Web site of BIBHSBR, dogs are rescued from various places, including those from hoarders, local shelters and owner-surrenders. However, their effort has not been hazardless. One of the challenges they face is the number of applications they receive. When they receive multiple applications for one dog, they try to find the most suitable match for that dog.
BIBHSBR is a non-profit rescue group started more than three years back in September 2010. If their Web site has to be believed, they have already placed over 250 dogs.
