Vin Diesel Talks About ‘Furious 7’ in ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live,’Says ‘Fast & Furious 8’ Will Be Set In NYC
New dad Vin Diesel recently guested in “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and talked about “Fast and Furious 7,” which features the late actor Paul Walker and the rest of the original cast. The hunky actor also revealed some of his stunts in the movie, particularly the scene with Walker where he needed to lift the front of the car.
When it comes to the movie’s stunts, Diesel revealed that they dropped cars from the plane, and he even bragged about the crazy action sequence. He even mentioned some scenes in Abu Dhabi where cars were jumping from building to building and said he couldn't help but be amazed by the people he worked with.
“Kurt Russell came in for this movie but he was really -- we really hired him because of a story that follows this that takes place in New York,” the actor told Kimmel when asked about the new cast member Kurt Russell. “So it's just like just some cool stuff that not everybody knows.”
He also mentioned “Game of Thrones” star Natalie Emmanuel who joined the cast in the movie’s seventh instalment plus new stars like mix martial artist Ronda Rousey and Tony Jaa, the man behind the famous Asian movie “Ong-Bak: Muay Thai Warrior.”
Meanwhile, Vin Diesel recently cemented his place in Hollywood history on the famous forecourt of TCL Chinese Theatre. Joined by the “Furious 7” cast and his family – model girlfriend Paloma Jimenez, six-year-old daughter Hania and four-year-old son Vincent, the 47-year-old action star sank his hand and feet into the cement days after he welcomed his second daughter Paulina, named after Paul Walker.
The “Pacifier” star announced his new baby on Facebook two weeks ago and revealed that he named her after his late co-star, Paul Walker, who died in November 2013 in a freak car accident. The newborn baby did not attend the ceremony and was left at home.
Diesel told Us Magazine that he doesn’t feel Walker’s absence while he and his “Fast & Furious” castmates are posing for pictures. He revealed that the whole objective of the movie is make the late actor proud and he believed that Walker is very proud right now.
