Images of a Chinese couple battling for an iPhone became viral as the photos tell the story of game addiction and the strength of the woman as she dragged her boyfriend about 10 metres on a Beijing subway.

The girlfriend rage was initially triggered by his very slow walk because the BF was so focused on playing games that she feared they would be left by the train, the Beijing Metro Line 10.

As they travelled, fellow subway riders noticed the girlfriend showing her growing frustration at her boyfriend who kept on playing games on his Apple phone. When they reached their stop, it led her to pull him from his seat, out of the train door and even on the subway station's floor.

She even placed her foot against his jaws to separate the BF from his smartphone, but the move didn't succeed.

The intensity of the couple made onlookers think it was a marketing gimmick from a mobile phone company, but those who took videos or photos thought otherwise.cit

A Shanghai Web site said the addiction of the BF has worsened that he is unwilling to find work. Among the comments that the images of the fighting couple elicited in Weibo, China's popular microblogging site, comments of how physically strong is the woman.

The images were also posted in YouTube and the video has gone viral with more than 30,000 views in two days.
