After the viral video of the 3 Mean Filipinas on the Puppy-Crushing Video, another video from the Philippines is getting attention on social media sites because of the cruelty involved.

While the next video does not involve violence, but hints of sexual perversion among Filipino police officers who are supposed to be macho, it also indicates prior violence based on the black eyes and bloodied faces of the male crime suspects.

Here is the five-minute video clip which apparently was taken by police officers, but ended up as Facebook status update with the plea to share the video in other social media sites so that the abusive police officers would be punished and removed from the service.

The three males on the video, obviously crime suspects - probably snatching or hold-up - have obviously been lynched by the mob which caught them or by police officers during interrogation. While police brutality is banned by the Philippine Department of Interior and Local Government, it is common knowledge that physical abuse methods are used by officials to get the suspects, who are often hardened criminals used to lying about their offences, to admit their participation.

This is evident in the audio when one of the police officers, probably in Metro Manila based on the lack of a regional accent when speaking the Pilipino language, threatens to kick the suspect on the face or body if they refuse to do what the officers were commanding them.

And what exactly did the officers ordered them to do? Two of the crime suspects were forced to engage in a man-to-man torrid kissing on the lips. When they tried to comply half-heartedly by giving each other a very light smack on the lips, the officers become angry.

The officers threaten more harm on them if they do not engage in a more passionate way and even ordered the detainees to engage in French kissing wherein the tongues are involved.

The video ends with the two crime suspects forced to comply, although one of them was visibly holding off from throwing up over the perverse command of the officers.

The homosexual undertones of the order of the police officers involved are surprising, considering that Filipino policemen have a reputation for being womanisers of having mistresses.

But more than the dubious sexual orientation of those cops involved, what is alarming is the growing number of police abuse cases, thanks to cellphone cameras, being recorded and shared on social media sites in a bid to push higher authorities to step police brutality.

Here are more samples of such illegal police behaviour in the Philippines.

While the first video appear to be three-year old based on the April 26, 2010 posting date on YouTube and has become viral with more than 46,000 views, the fresh campaign to use the power of social media which were not as potent three years ago is being tapped to end police brutality which has been ongoing in the different precincts across the Philippines for quite a number of years.
