Team “Adamtina” returns on The Voice 2013, Season 5 and the duo promises “no more ugly fighting.” As Christina Aguilera comes back with a bang and enormous weight loss and Adam Levine just gets engaged with on-and-off girlfriend, Behati Prinsloo, the show’s host, Carson Daly promises to see “new Adamtina” and millions of fans can expect no banter as the judges vow to be even nicer this time around.

The Voice is known for being one of the very few (if not the only one) reality show on U.S. television for having the nicest and kindest mentors and judges. Compared to what they have on the ‘X-Factor’ with Simon Cowell at the corner and ‘American Idol’ with Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey trying to revive careers bickering, ‘The Voice’ has been offering a fresh formula for its audience - - nicer people, nicer judges and (but) yet less number of stars produced on the show.

Despite this, there were little banters between judges Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera. Fans missed that in Season 4 when Christina decided to sit out the last season. But with her much-anticipated comeback for Season 5 and with her major weight loss, it is believed that ‘The Voice’ is back on its track to being one of the few shows with judges who believe that the show can go on and produce stars without much fighting on the table.

The show’s host, Carson Daily attested to that.

“No. They fight, but it’s not ... it got a little ugly there for a minute, and we all know that,” Carson was quoted as telling The Huffington Post, according to Wetpaint.com. “But this group is solid. It’s like these guys never missed a beat.”

It will be recalled that Adam and Christina had a major blowout when they could not be on the same page with one of the contestants, Tony Lucca, an Adam finalist. Tony, according to Wetpaint.com was “former Mouseketeer from Christina’s Mickey Mouse Club days and let’s just say they didn’t quite see eye to eye.”

But it’s all gone now and let bygones be bygones.

Expect to see no more major fighting among the judges and mentors and The Voice will continue to live its name as a show with nicer people.

It will be recalled during the roundtable discussion organised by The Hollywood Reporter in June 2013, The Voice was touted and had claimed to go out of the box of being kind to hopefuls and not allowing them to leave the stage with dampened spirits. Let’s hope to see more of that for the upcoming season.

The Voice returns on TV screens on Sept 29, 2013.
