Volta, a hardware start-up from the Gold Coast of Australia, has developed a cross-compatible magnetic charger made of robust, tangle-free military grade components. The cable works with any device that has a micro USB, USB-C (Universal/Android) or Lightning port (Apple) and the company has stress-tested the Volta cable to make sure it will never break and actually last.

While the company is certainly not the originator of magnetic charging advancements, it believes the Volta charger is better than any other magnetic cable in the market. The Volta charger also features a reversible magnetic connection that links instantaneously every single time.

The Volta’s 18K gold-plated copper core plug and 24 AWG copper wires provide fast charging capabilities and data transfer support while the 18K gold-plated needles ensure current stability. Military-grade nylon and sturdy anti-scratch aluminium shielding further boost the charger’s durability.

The Volta cross-compatible magnetic charging cable is available in one or two metre (3.28 or 6.56 feet) options. It also comes in four colours: silver, pink, rose gold and black. Volta’s successful Kickstarter campaign saw its initial goal of $10,000 reach $149,862 worth of pledges.
