‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 updates: Jay Huguley lands recurring role, rumours of a major character’s death in episode 3
Season 6 of “The Walking Dead” is becoming more exciting with hordes of zombie and violent Wolves keeping beloved characters busy in Alexandria. However, rumours surrounding episode 3 indicates the death of a major character. Also, fans will get to see more of actor Jay Huguley in this season’s “The Walking Dead.”
Huguley, best known for his role in HBO's "Treme," landed a recurring role in season 6 of “The Walking Dead,” Deadline reported. The actor, whose projects include “12 Years A Slave and “True Detective,” was first introduced last year as David, one of the residents living in the Alexandria Safe Zone community. Hugely has also already appeared in the season 6 premiere of the zombie apocalypse series and is set to make a re-appearance in upcoming episodes of “The Walking Dead.”
Meanwhile, latest spoilers about the upcoming episode of “The Walking Dead” season 6 shows that Michael Traynor’s character Nicholas will die in episode 3. However, according to a Facebook post made by The Spoiling Dead Fans, there may be another death in said episode, but this time, a major character is rumoured to become zombie prey.
The Spoiling Dead Fans wrote that they received information about the upcoming episode which read, “Glenn and Nicholas are on top of a dumpster surrounded by walkers. Nicholas starts to have a panic attack or something. Slow motion s--- with ringing sounds over the top. He pulls out a gun and says thank you to Glenn and boom! Glenn gets a face full of blood. As he falls off the dumpster he ends up pushing Glenn off. Not on purpose or anything, it's like Glenn tried to catch him and they both tumble off. Walkers then rip Glenn's chest apart.”
The character Glenn, played by Steven Yeun, has been a staple member of actor Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes’ team since the beginning of the series. The character's death will come as a shock to fans, although The Spoiling Dead Fans post went on to state that the part of Glenn’s death may be a hallucination and that Glenn might have pictured himself dying with Nicholas.
Fans of the AMC series will have to watch the upcoming episode to find out if this is true.
“The Walking Dead” season 6 airs on AMC every Sunday in the U.S. and every Monday in Australia on Foxtel’s FX channel.
