‘Watch Dogs’ Release Date [Watch Gameplay and Trailer]
Some game developers tend to rush the game production to get the game in the hands of the fans. The Ubisoft "Watch dogs" team would rather deliver a great product with some delays rather than compromise and have an early release date.
One of the most anticipated games, "Watch Dogs," is all set for a release date in spring 2014. According to the team involved in the production, the difficult decision to delay the launch was taken to bring the best next generation features to the game.
The game seems almost ready and the team is putting in the finishing touches to make it more polished and add more excitement to delight the gamers. How long will that take? It may take a while as the team appears to be examining the finer details of the game with an eagle eye.
In "Watch Dogs" players will play as Aiden Pearce. The character can hack into Chicago's central operating system (ctOS) and control almost every element of the city. The city will be his playground as he takes control of certain elements of the city.
The player may access the security cameras in the city, access personal information and even control the public transport and traffic signals. These tools will come in particularly handy when the character is giving chase to a target.
There has been discontent from fans who bought the next-generation consoles to play "Watch Dogs." For an avid gamer any announcement of delay can be very painful. But gamers also understand that an unfinished game with bugs would be even more painful no matter how early it is released.
"Watch Dogs" will be released for the next generation consoles and for the previous generation consoles. PC version of the game is also expected, all to be shipped by spring 2014.

Expectations are high from "Watch Dogs" and with this delay fans would want to scrutinize and review the game to see if the additional waiting period was worth it. The production team may have pushed the bar a little higher with the delay, but all may be forgiven if the game delivers what it has promised.
