Virtually unknown a week ago, but an American teen singer, named Rebecca Black is now becoming a household name as she makes her way to the music scene - - thanks to her first single, “Friday” that has aroused the curiosity of millions of viewers on YouTube and elsewhere in the web.
The popstar wannabe is featured in the music video that that has exploded on the internet since it was uploaded almost a month ago.
But after raking in almost 3.5 million viewers as of posting time, Rebecca has no doubt outranked other celebrity scandals featuring Charlie Sheen and the many of courtroom appearances and outfits of embattled actress Lindsay Lohan.
But all for the wrong reasons.

The single with lyrics - - "yesterday was Thursday, Thursday/Today is Friday, Friday" and "tomorrow is Saturday, and Sunday comes afterwards" has doubled its hits on YouTube in the last two days.
The music video has generated a series of parody and remixes that come in different version: There’s a sped up version and a slowed down version that could come in many speed. And there’s the chipmunk version if one wishes to hear one.
The video is released by an independent LA record label called, ARK Music Factor. The record company’s official website said that the teen singer has started dancing when she was three but took interest in singing at 10. The teen added the website was signed to a modeling agency at 11.
