‘Wayward Pines’ season 2 episode 6 spoilers: Theresa wishes to die; Abbie reveal telepathic abilities in ‘City Upon A Hill’

Fans may be hit with another death in “Wayward Pines” Season 2 Episode 6. The episode is titled “City Upon A Hill.”

The official synopsis for the upcoming episode says that CJ (Djimon Hounsou) and the harvesters and will be in danger as they will be attacked by the Abbies. This will leave the town and Theresa (Shannyn Sossamon) in grave danger. After which, Theo (Jason Patric) will create a makeshift triage unit. However, it seems that Theo will not be able to fix his marriage with Rebecca (Nimrat Kaur). Xander (Josh Helman) will also show everything he has got and persevere to fight, because Jason (Tom Stevens) keeps on pushing him and questioning his ability to lead, Cartermatt says.

It is speculated that the sixth episode for the second season will be a tragic one. Speculations say that Theresa Burke might have a not so good ending and that she might be saying goodbye to the show for good.

The speculation that Theresa will die during the coming episode came from the premise that she already wants to die because her son is already gone. In fact, she wanted to stay outside the fence so she can be with Ben (Charlie Tahan). She kept on insisting that she wants to be outside the fence because she believed that her son is out there alone. She thought that he needed her and that she needed to be there for him. The bigger question fans are asking is will Theresa finally get what she wants?

During the last episode, it was shown to viewers how a female Abby used her telepathic ability to call out other Abbies. Since they were reached by the female Abby, it seems the other Abberations will be responding to the message and it may not be a good sign for what awaits Wayward Pines in the upcoming episode. Basically, a bloodbath is expected upon the arrival of the newly recruited Abbies.

Fans and viewers have been observing that the show has been killing off its Season 1 characters a lot lately. Now, it is only Theresa and Adam (Tim Griffin) who remains alive and people are starting to think that they will be the next to be killed off the show as well, the Hall of Fame Magazine reports.

“Wayward Pines” Season 2 Episode 6 will air on Wednesday, June 29 on FOX. It also airs on Foxtel in Australia.
