What to Expect for Kim Kardashian's Wedding TV Special [PHOTOS]

The wedding is over, but the buzz about it isn't as "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" shows a two-part special starting Oct. 9.

Kim Kardashian's wedding to NBA star Kris Humphries is one of the most talked-about celebrity events this year. Celebrities, musicians, famous athletes, and television presenters all gathered to witness the special occasion unfold. The star-studded wedding took place in a lush private estate in Montecito, Calif., where guests got teary-eyed as Pastor Joel Johnson declared the couple husband and wife. The camera also caught a glimpse of Humphries saying the words "I love you" to Kardashian after the bride was handed over by stepfather, Bruce Jenner.

Kim had three couture gowns from Vera Wang and jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz worth $15 million, including the princess-like tiara head dress and massive diamond earrings. The venue was packed with 50,000 different kinds of flowers to amp up the fairy tale effect. After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a multimillion-dollar party inside a 30-foot tent and gourmet dishes from celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, such as the truffle oil pasta that had the stars wanting more.

The reception was made special by a performance by Earth, Wind and Fire after Robin Thicke performed the song "Angels." Kardashian sought the help of her Dancing With the Stars partner Mark Ballas to choreograph a special dance just for her and her new husband. Kim's mother, Kris, expressed how much joy and amazement she felt during Kim's wedding.

"The whole event unfolded so beautifully I wanted to stop time so I could enjoy each moment over and over again" said Kris to People magazine. E! channel will air the wedding special entitled "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event" on Oct. 9 and 10.
