Despite the many rumours that new parents Jay-Z and Beyonce paid about $1.3 million to make private an entire hospital floor, a representative from the hospital administration themselves released an official statement to clear the issue.

The representative who was quoted over at TMZ simply stated their explanation in this straight forward sentence:

"The suggestion that the couple paid $1.3 million to rent an entire maternity floor is simply not true."

The representative also added that the new family just checked in at one of their executive suites and was billed for the usual standard rates of their medical institution. It is also not true that Beyonce and her baby have a lot of overwhelming security teams to guard them but the hospital said that it is part of their services to ensure the privacy of each family who welcomes a new baby, whether celebrity or not.

Some rumours say that there were mothers who are even considering to file a lawsuit against some hospital staff for not giving them fair treatment and instead prioritizing the pregnant Beyonce last weekend.
