Unless you have all the tablets to try, you can't fairly judge the tablet with the best battery life. According to a published report from Tech Daily, iPad Air tops the list of the best tablets in terms of battery life. Initially, the test was conducted on some top tablets available in the market. One test measured the battery life of the tablets with surfing the Internet, while the other test measured how long the battery lives in the tablets while watching videos.
During the test, iPad Air topped the list in both categories. iPad Air had 658 minutes of battery life for Internet use and 777 minutes for watching videos. Without a shadow of doubt, the iPad Air is the clear winner in the tests cited.
The second best tablet that has long battery life is also from Apple, finishing 44 minutes behind iPad Air is the iPad Mini with Retina display in the Internet test. iPad 2 finished third with its battery conked out 24 minutes before iPad Mini with Retina display. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition is the first Android tablet to make it to the list, finishing at 483 minutes, which is 2 minutes longer than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
After Apple iPad Air, the next slate on the list on watching videos is Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 at 714 minutes. Nexus 7 2013 edition was third at 669 minutes, while iPad 2 at 660 minutes and Tesco Hudl at 644 minutes followed respectively.
With the test, Apple's tablets certainly outlast the opposing tablets in terms of battery life. iPad Air, iPad Mini with Retina display and iPad 2 performed better than Androids for Web browsing and iPad Air topped also the list in watching videos.
