The year 2014 is indeed a great year because of the supernatural things in the universe we can see clearly here on Earth. This is a rare event because it doesn't happen every year.

In the month of January, Mars will be rising in the sky at midnight and around dawn. Mars gleams near star Spica on the sky of January. But Mars will dominate Spica's brightness.

February 2014, is another month, Mars is in front of the constellation Virgo just like in January. In the early February, Mars will be seen in the east at 11 p.m., and in the late February it will be seen 10p.m.

Next is on April 2014, the sun, Earth, and Mars will be in line with each other in the universe. Because of this position, Earth will be near Mars, making Mars bright. And also it will be red-hot in hue.

Planet Mars always shine brightly when seen here on Earth every couple of years, whenever Earth, sun and this planet is on the line in space.

On May 2016, Mars will shine brightly again. This 2014 Mars is closer to Earth compared last 2012. But on 2016 and 2018 it will not shine as bright as now.

As 2014 ends, Mars slowly faint but still visible to the eye.
