Samsung unveiled the Student Edition of its Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. It comes with freebies for their loyal consumers.

Samsung never gets tired of making their products available to the public. The Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Student Edition will make its way on the market on August 19. This device is not entirely different from the original 7-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. However, Korea-based tech giant decided to throw in a keyboard and a USB dongle accessory.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 has 7-inch screen display with 600 x 1024 pixel resolution. The device has 8GB, 16GB and 32GB variants and 1GB RAM. It is powered by TI OMAP 4430 dual-core 1 GHz processor.

Apart from the aforementioned specs, the gadget will sport a 3.15 MP rear camera, 1.3 MP front shooter, 3G and WiFi connectivity, a Standard Li-Ion 4000 mAh battery and finally Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich right out of the box.

Buyers will enjoy the device as the bundle includes a keyboard docking station that will make text entry on the tablet much easier. Moreover, the USB adapter lets you connect other peripherals to the tablet despite the fact that it has a proprietary docking port rather than a standard USB port. The best thing about the device is that it is available in a $249 friendly price tag.

In the next few days, The Korea-based company will launch one of its flagship tablets - Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. The device already arrived in Germany and United Arab Emirates last Monday and is expected to be released worldwide in the coming weeks.

There is also the IFA event in Berlin but since the invite came from Samsung Mobile, consumers are expecting the launching of the much anticipated Galaxy Note 2.

Samsung has released no less than 293 new devices this year. Samsung's specialty is to offer different devices to various markets.
