‘WWE 2K15’ Announced For PC, Comes With Free DLC
2K Games has announced that last years wrestlefest, “WWE 2K 15” is headed to PC on April 28. While PC gamers have had to wait longer than they would have liked, the PC version comes chock full of content, as 2K have packed in every piece of DLC released for the game thus far.
The news comes via the official WWE website, and follows the announcement that WWE 2K is now available for download on mobile devices. The free DLC content also includes the Sting Pack, Hulk Hogan Pack, WCW Character Pack, New Moves Pack, WWE2K 15 Accelerator, NXT Character Arrival and all three Showcase packs.
In total, this means the PC version is shipping with 36 additional characters, 4 new managers, 26 matches, 40 single-player stories and a glut of cutscenes from the 2K Showcase. None other than Mr. Prototype himself, John Cena chimed in with his thoughts on the PC package.
“I grew up playing games on my PC, Texas Instruments, Commodore 64, I was a huge PC gamer growing up, so this is big. Not only for our fans, but for me personally as well, fans may not know this, but I was such a huge PC gamer that I bought a living room entertainment system just to play PC games back in the day,” he said.
Gamers will also be pleased to note that the PC version of “WWE 2K15” has been tuned to run on fairly modest hardware. Minimum requirements call for a fairly old Core 2 Duo E6600 and a GTX 450 or AMD HD 5770. PC gamers with capable rigs should be able to run the game at very high framerates and resolutions, assuming the quality of the port holds up. A full breakdown of the system requirements follows:

While the PC package may offer a lot of content, “WWE2K 15” didn’t meet with the best review scores upon its original release. Gamespot awarded the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game a 5/10 in its review, calling the game out for it stripped down features, gutted roster and game-breaking bugs. “WWE2K 15” will be released on PC on April 28.
