‘WWE 2K15’ Gets Some New Moves
After being teased on the WWE 2K Facebook Page with a picture of Chris Jericho performing his famous 1004 holds promo, the "WWE 2K15" New Moves pack is now available for download. Originally announced by 2K along with the rest of the DLC, this new pack will come with 35 new moves players can equip to either their favourite WWE Superstars or their own custom wrestlers in "WWE 2K15."
An official trailer for the New Moves pack was shown in IGN, while popular wrestling Youtube channel Smacktalks showcased all the moves available for the game. The moves themselves are a mixture of moves done by current WWE superstars, future WWE stars in NXT and a number of wrestlers from the independent circuit. Those done by the main roster include the "Multiple Gutwrench Suplex Combo" by Cesaro, a new version of "Sister Abigail" by Bray Wyatt, Nikki Bella's "Rack Attack" and the "Uso Crazy" made popular by The Usos; Jimmy and Jey who are the current WWE Tag Team Champions.
A number of moves also come from WWE's development show NXT. These include the "End of Days," made popular by up-and-comer Baron Corbin and "Bow Down to the Queen," which is being used by NXT Women's Champion Charlotte. Neither of these superstars are in the game, though creative players will be able to create Baron Corbin through the famous Create-a-Wrestler mode. Fans of Charlotte however will be disappointed since "WWE 2K15" does not have a mode to create female wrestlers.
Most of the other moves belong to wrestlers unaffiliated with the WWE; in fact some of them are signature moves to former superstars from TNA Impact. AJ Styles for example made the "Calf Killer" submission move popular during his final stint in TNA. The "Rear Naked Choke" on the other hand was used recently by Samoa Joe, but was made famous by former ECW Champion Taz.
There are also returning moves that were removed from previous games and re-animated to look smoother like the "Vertabreaker" and the "Spinning Power Bomb." The "New Moves" Pack is available for $3.99 and should be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
