With “WWE 2K15” DLCs already out, it appears that there won’t be any more patches coming out. This was confirmed by Community Manager Marcus Stephenson via the official 2K forums.

“I have confirmed with our dev team that there will be no more updates/patches for ‘WWE 2K15.’ The team is hard at work building for the future, and all feedback in this thread will be taken into account in the building process,” said Stephenson via the forum.

As expected, fans did not take this as well as hoped. Some fans are still angry about how the game was stripped down following announcements of many interesting features, the alleged “fake” patches that did not bring expected bug fixes, or the fact that “WWE 2K15” did not live up to fan expectations. Some other players, on the other hand, are putting their hopes up for “WWE 2K16.”

“I have faith in ‘2K16.’ Though, that will be the last straw,” said 2K forums member dannyxdomecheck.

The last patch released for the game had been in Mar. 30. While the best thing to do for any succeeding issues is to contact 2K Games, Gamepur has managed to compile a list of fixes for some known issues in “WWE 2K15.”

This is specific to the PC version, and one which addresses some issues including slow motion gameplay and game crashes during specific actions. To deal with slow motion graphics, users should turn of the V-sync, which reportedly slows down the gameplay. Also, make sure that the PC is using the AMD Radeon HD 5770, which is a recommended graphics card for to play “WWE 2K15.” A few more fixes can be seen in the link above.

For now, there have been tidbits and speculations of what will be coming to “WWE 2K16.” Attack of the Fanboy reports that Samoa Joe has teased being in a new project via Twitter. But since he is not yet allowed to divulge any details about it, fans are speculating his role in “WWE 2K16.”

The source reports that there has been talk about Samoa Joe being in the “WWE 2K16.” Previously, Wrestlezone mentioned that Samoa Joe may be headed to WWE after TNA. Though there are a lot of options on his plate for his next gig, including New Japan Pro Wrestling and NXT, there was a definite mention of a possibility for WWE. If this does push through, then Samoa Joe’s Twitter hints may be leading to something for next year’s game.
