WWE 2K17, widely regarded as the greatest sports entertainment gaming title in the next-gen era, will launch worldwide for PC on February 7, according to 2K Sports.
After receiving rave reviews for its PS4 and Xbox One editions, which released last Fall, 2K Sports will add another title to its growing WWE series for PC following WWE 2K16, which was well-received by critics.
According to WWE 2K's official website, the Standard Edition of the PC version will be priced at $US49.99 ($AU66.65) while the Deluxe Edition will be available for $US74.99 ($AU99.98). While the former includes just the game, the Deluxe Edition will include the Season Pass which offers all downloadable content (DLC), packs and showcase features.
The Standard Edition will also include the 'Bill Goldberg Pack' which gives gamers access to two playable versions of the iconic WCW and WWE superstar, besides authentic arenas of WCW Halloween Havoc and WCW Monday Nitro. Previously, console users had to pay an additional sum to access the 'Bill Goldberg Pack'.

The Season Pass for the Deluxe Edition will allow gamers to unlock features such as 'My Player Kickstart', 'Accelerator', 'NXT Enhancement Pack', 'Legends Pack', 'New Moves Pack', 'Future Stars Pack' and the 'Hall of Fame Showcase' which is due to be released in the aftermath of the game's release.
The 'Hall of Fame Showcase', scheduled to be released at a later date, will include playable matches such as Cactus Jack and Diamond Dallas Page vs. The Fabulous Freebirds from WCW Saturday Night 1992, Ivory vs. Jacqueline from SmackDown 2000 and Sting vs. Ric Flair from Clash of Champions 1988, besides other legendary matches. According to a report on Forbes, the PC version of the game will feature more community creations due to the influx of modders. "WWE 2K17 has an outstanding creation suite on console systems, but the PC availability will open up doors for modders to do even more with the game. Expect to see some over-the-top customization from PC users that you may not see from those who own the game on consoles."
WWE 2K17 is out now for PS4, PS3, XBox One and XBox 360.
