Lovatics, hang on tight! The "X Factor" judge Demi Lovato is hard at work on her fourth album, which will be out next year. So what should fans of the singer expect? Well, Demi says she's bringing the sound of real music back. Is this a hit artists of today making "un-real" music? Fans of today's singers should definitely hope not.

"I'm bringing the sound of real music back," said Lovato in an interview when the topic of her upcoming album came up.

Judging from what Lovato said, it seems as if the "X-Factor" host is a bit judgmental when it comes to the music releases of this year. Hopefully, Demi's statement isn't taking a hit at Psy's hit song "Oppa Gangnam Style" or Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" which had done a great job for being most played this year.

Thankfully, Demi Lovato did explain her statement a bit better.

"I'm bringing the sound of real music back. I think Adele does a great job - they are catchy pop songs, but it's real music and there are instruments. I want to bring a lot of that back," explained the singer, adding, "There's going to be some fun, light-hearted songs with kind of a throwback sound. But I say one thing and then I spend like a month in the studio and it ends up being totally different, so I don't know."

By the looks of it, Demi is aiming for something resembling Taylor's current hit album, "Red" of which had hit the number one spot on the Billboard.

"There's going to be some fun, lighthearted songs with kind of a throwback sound. But I say one thing and then I spend like a month in the studio and it ends up being totally different, so I don't know," explained Lovato further.

As of now, Lovato has completed about three songs for her fourth album. Also, she has been recording with Lea Michele of "Glee." Fans of Demi definitely have something to look forward to for next year. They better be crossing their fingers that Demi also manages to come back to the film industry and follow in the footsteps of BFF, Selena Gomez, and make a movie by 2013.
