Xbox 360 and Xbox 720 : Microsoft Updates Successful Consoles
Microsoft Xbox 360 has already met considerable success ever since it was released. In an effort to keep this momentum, Microsoft is also thinking of additional ways to ensure that this trend will continue with the release of its next generation console, Xbox 720. Here are some of the updates regarding Xbox 360 and 720:
Xbox 360
In an advertisement by Microsoft, the company announced that the will be incorporating highly interactive NUads to Xbox 360 this fall. This would enable viewers to respond to questions through voice or gesture. There are already companies that are lined up to take advantage of this new feature. These companies include Toyota, Unilever, and Samsung Mobile USA. All of these companies have already created Kinect-enabled ads which lets them interact with viewers.
There are also news that Xbox 360 will also be entering a new type of gaming which is educational gaming. Based on research studies, gaming and learning has a strong relationship with each other and incorporating this concept could help people particularly children in developing their learning ability. In actuality, there are already educational games in Xbox 360 which includes Kinect Sesame Street TV, Body and Brain Connection, and Kinnect Nat Geo TV.
Xbox 720
Many people are anticipating the release of Xbox 720 though no specific details about this has been revealed in the public. Nevertheless, there are rumors which states that EA could consider the option of reviving games on Xbox 720. Though this is an interesting prospect, EA has already done this before with Syndicate. The results for this was less than staggering hence considering it a bad business decision. It seems like EA has already gotten over this incident as they are considering bringing back previous games in Xbox 720. Some games that are being considered for this "revival" includes Ryse, Alan Wake 2, Beyond Good and Evil 2, Thief 4, Prey 2, Microsoft Vancouver's Project, Grand Theft Auto 5 and Half Life 3 / Half-Life 2: Episode 3.
