If the official Facebook page of the much-awaited game Call of Duty: Ghosts is to be believed, then gamers may be seeing a gameplay demo next week, May 21, at the Xbox reveal event.

In addition, it's not unlikely that a release date will be announced in the same event, as iDigital Times reports that Activision will also be present in the event. What's more, if an announcement is made, it will be for a worldwide release.

One good point that was brought up involves the possibility of another exclusivity deal that Microsoft has bagged, this time with Activision.

In earlier reports, there has been talk about EA sealing an exclusivity deal with Microsoft for its next-gen console, Xbox 720 or Infinity (depending on the name that will be announced next week).

Considering the trend, it may also be that the exclusivity is more on the earlier release date for one platform over the others.

Another Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 DLC?

In a related news report, there seems to be talk about a potential DLC hint from the Call of Duty: Ghosts weapon camo DLC as seen in the one already released for the Black Ops 2 Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.

VG 24/7 reports that this may be the hint regarding the next DLC content that will be up for download for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 may be available for the PC version next.

This came from the report wherein the developer had said a "Maybe" response when asked the question. However, no further detail has yet been revealed.

Battlefield 4: No co-op mode, but potential melee-based DLC?

The upcoming first-person shooter game may be closing one door of opportunity but opening another one for privilege as two reports hint at possible developments for Battlefield 4.

Just Push Start reports that those who may be looking forward to co-op session games playing Battlefield 4 may be disappointed, given the announcement from the official Battlefield Twitter page.

"Unfortunately, there will be no co-op game mode in Battlefield 4," according to the tweet as quoted by Just Push Start.

However, this may be pertaining to the fact that co-op with the previous Battlefield installment was only conducted online. Considering this move, it may not mean so much as a complete lack of co-op modes, but rather lack of playable offline co-op sessions.

A related bit of news involves a potential Battlefield 4 DLC expansion in the works, one that may feature melee attacks.

In a report gathered by The Examiner, EA has conducted another round of surveys that hint at a DLC pack that features close combat weapons and even stealth tools.

This survey follows one that was already conducted before, specifically the one that features dinosaurs and naval warfare, vehicles, and coastal batteries as potential focuses of separate DLCs.
