Xbox One controller can be recharged in a minute with Super Charger

A video game accessory company is bringing the Xbox One controller charger that can fully charge the battery within a minute. The company, Performance Designed Products (PDP), claims that players can enjoy 10 to 12 hours of gameplay after using the Super Charger.

This is the first time in the gaming industry that a company is claiming to bring an accessory that takes no longer than 60 seconds to completely charge the Xbox One controller battery. IGN reported that the availability and price are still a secret but PDP chief technology officer, Tom Roberts, has confirmed that a Super Charger is making its way to hit stores.

“The Super Charger's unique ability to fulfill the need of Xbox One controller's battery in just seconds reduces interruption in game play sessions – a full recharge during a quick break provides convenience to all gamers,” said Roberts, IGN quoted.

The Super Charger is basically a single controller accessory similar to the many other charging docks available in the market now, but no other video game accessory claims to charge the Xbox One controller within this short amount of time. If the new device performs according to the claims made by PDP, it will not make players to wait more than a minute.

As mentioned earlier, no confirmation has been released by the company about the price of the Super Charger but players can browse through many other Xbox One controller accessories available on the market now. PDP isn't sharing more information about Super Charger, but more information can be expected from the Consumer Electronic Show 2016. As suggested by the official CES website, the event will take place between Jan. 6 to Jan 9, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Until the company releases more information, Xbox One players will just have to wait for the official announcements. PDP has not even said anything about the chances of bringing a PS4 controller compatible charger.
