Among the Xbox One exclusives and games expected for 2014, Halo 5 (or whatever it is meant to be called) has not yet been listed, but only because speculations have pointed out that Halo 5 or Halo for Xbox One may not be the final title for the game.

Now it seems that another unannounced Halo game heading for the Xbox One, at least according to a job ad found by DualShockers.

According to the report, it is not clear whether the touted game is actually the Halo title heading for the Xbox One or if this is yet another Halo game separate from the long-running title.

The job ad is from 343 Industries, which has been reported to be working on the next Halo title. This time, the search is for an engineer who has experience with online and connected features. While the online features were clearly written out, what they mean exactly are vague at best, such as possible microtransactions in the game.

What do you think of this new bit of information? Is Microsoft getting ready for the Halo title that it has promised on the Xbox One? Or is this another off-shoot game?

Halo movie coming from Ridley Scott?

Still on the Halo bandwagon, another Halo production may be underway, and one that is supposedly different from what Steven Spielberg has been reportedly working on as announced way back in 2013.

Escapist Magazine has spotted tweets from Production Weekly that spilled a few details on another Halo project, which is now reportedly a movie:

"The HALO project is a live-action feature-length digital produced by Ridley Scott..."

While there are very few details on the supposed Halo movie (besides Paul Scheuring being the writer), it seems that there are a lot of Halo franchises being teased. Just recently, VG 24/7 reported that the Halo TV series that Spielberg is helming is not a "filler" and that it stands alone as a project that's worthy of the time for production.

Whether 2014 may actually be the year where all of the Halo projects will come to fruition (or at least have more details other than speculations) remain to be seen, but the many hints can be a good start.

Project CARS goes 1080p, 60 fps, and on the cloud

Even with the Xbox One exclusive Forza 5 already making waves with its graphics as a driving simulation game on Microsoft's next-gen console, here's another game that aims to rev up the race track for the Xbox One.

Project CARS, an upcoming game from Slightly Mad, is reportedly looking at only next-gen launches, including the Xbox One and PS4 in order to maximise the game's features and graphics with the power that next-gen offers.

There has been a mention of the sharing feature for both the PS4 and Xbox One as a way to make the game even more engaging for players. In relation to the specs, Slightly Mad is pushing for the 1080p resolution and 60 frames per second performance for all of its releases.

For Xbox One users, there's also the promise of cloud gaming and utilisation as a way to integrate new features and design to Project CARS.

"We have ideas for where we'd like to see cloud integration and those are top secret right now but I believe we'll definitely see games utilise the cloud to add some very cool new features and design components to the next generation of games," said creative director Andy Tudor in an interview quoted by OXM.
