For those who can't wait for the scheduled Dec 21 replenishments that are reportedly coming for the Xbox One and PS4, here are a few more retailers that list stocks for Xbox One and PS4.

Note that in some cases, only bundles of the consoles are available, so be prepared to pitch in a few more bucks to get the console.

Nerdacy has compiled a list of these retailers which are still selling the next-gen consoles. For instance, in the Microsoft Store, buyers can still get the Xbox One console, but via the Ultimate Bundle only. On the other hand, the Sony store only sells the PS4 Killzone Bundle.

On Amazon, Xbox One consoles are still available, though the PS4 is only available as a bundle. The Amazon Xbox One Day One edition, however, already costs $800, as the newest $499.99 offer has already been sold out.

A Gold-Plated Xbox One

When the prices for the Xbox One and the PS4 were revealed, Microsoft's console took quite a lot of flak for being $100 more expensive than Sony's. However, for some people, price may be far from the issue of getting an Xbox One.

A good example would be the fact that a gold-plated Xbox One worth almost $10,000 is being sold at Harrods. But according to CNet, this Xbox One may be a one-of-a-kind deal, similar to past gold-plated consoles.

Toys R Us is more forgiving in prices, as the bundles (both the Xbox One and PS4) are sold anywhere between $519 and $619, still at least $100 less than the Amazon bundle. GameStop, Kmart and Newegg have Xbox One bundle offers.

Indie Games May Arrive by March 2014 on Xbox One

Microsoft's progress with regard to the development of indie games for its Xbox One console is surprisingly going at a fast pace.

The ID@Xbox program has just recently made a stir with the 32 studios that have apparently signed up with the program to develop games for the Xbox One. Now, the latest bit of news now is that the release date estimate for the Xbox One has been announced.

"I think it will be early in the New Year, in the first three months," said Chris Charla, ID@Xbox director, to Edge-Online. "I would say closer to the third month. In terms of how many games there will be, it's hard to say, because they're still in development," he added.

What can be expected in the meantime is the fact that the indie developers for the Xbox One have been provided with guidelines as to what they can publish for the next-gen console. But in future, there will be those with an Xbox One console who can actually gain access to the development tools to create their own game.

For now, Microsoft is still advising Xbox One gamers to refrain from tinkering with the developer settings in the console as it can cause issues.
