Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 night camera impresses but sealed chassis is a problem
Reality images look great
Last week saw a frenzy engulf the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, an up and coming blockbuster that’s creating lots of buzz because of its great night camera, a first for a Xiaomi tablet. While the camera hype is huge, there seems to be a serious issue with the device’s tough and stubbornly irremovable chassis unlike that of the Redmi Note 2.
A few images recently popped up on the web showing high-clarity pictures taken by the tablet’s camera under challenging situations like low-light, dark nights and so on. But as impressive as these images are, we’ll have to wait for to find out if the camera’s that good in low lights for real.
Hopefully, the tablet’s 13 MP Samsung-made shooter enabled with speedy face-detection option, autofocus feature and f/2.2 aperture is good enough. You’ll love its display size, too. Not too big but easy to hold in its 5.5-inch full HD size supported by 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. The tablet runs on Android OS and is based on MIUI 7 that is responsible for its smooth functioning and lots of workable options. Know more here.
The biggest unique selling proposition of the tablet is its fingerprint scanning button set at the back that unlocks the device in 0.3 seconds. You may choose to buy any of the two 16 GB or 64 GB storage variants of the device.
The Redmi Note 2 has a removable back and a swappable battery, making it easier for a user to open its back. Xiaomi claims the Redmi Note 3 manages to support a 4000mAH battery in a relatively thin sized 8.65 mm body that performs quite well.
Users might not have to open the Redmi Note 3’s rear at all, unless in exceptional situations. Only problem is you may have to run to an electronics shop for unavoidable and complicated repair work you can’t do by yourself, reports Phone Arena. A teardown showed how tough it is getting at the tablet’s internals.
