The Zuta Labs' pocket printer has apparently made mobile printing a dream come true.

Everything today has gone mobile with wireless technology taking another leap forward. We can now leave our workstations but can still stay connected. The printer is an equipment that has been long left behind by the mobile revolution. It cannot provide a mobile experience as nobody wants to carry a heavy printer.

We see people from all walks of life - in school, law offices and businesses - working efficiently outside their offices or homes, struggling to find places where they can print. It would be great if an innovation can change this.

Tech experts from Zuta Labs Ltd have recently developed a pocket printer reflecting the essence of mobility and portability. It supports the aim to see our ideas transformed into something readable.

Zuta's printer lives up to the essence of real mobile printing. It has come into reality and equally convenient, user-friendly and prints from any device. It can now be printed in PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone into any sized page.

The Zuta Labs team designed the printer to be easily accessible through wireless communications, applying the concept of robotic solution. It currently runs a Kickstarter campaign. The printer comes with a rechargeable battery with an on and off switch. The device has a print head running left and right on the paper. The first round of printers will weigh about 300 grams with an 11.5 centimeters and 10 centimeters in diameter height, respectively. The USB port at the bottom of the printer supports the lithium polymer battery that runs for an hour off and takes three hours to charge.

According to the source, the device presently supports all major operating systems such as Android and iOS. Apps are being developed so that any Bluetooth device can control the printer.

Early feedbacks said the printing device can make 1,000 pages printed in one standard HP inkjet cartridge with a speed of 1.2 pages per minute and a maximum print quality of 96 x 192 dpi. It can print in any size by setting the paper size in the Zuta control interface.

Promotional price is set to about $200 for the first round of printers in January 2015.
