“19 Kids & Counting” star Josh Duggar’s wife Anna Duggar has given birth to their fourth child on July 19, Sunday. The baby girl named Meredith Grace Duggar was born nine days after her due date measuring 20.5 inches long and weighing in at 7 pounds .

Josh and Anna got married on Sept. 26, 2008, when they were both 20 years old. Their first child Mackynzie Renee Duggar was born in 2009 followed by their second and third children Michael James Duggar in 2011 and Marcus Anthony Duggar in 2013.

On Sept. 29, 2008, the family series “17 Kids & Counting” premiered on TLC. It was renamed “18 Kids & Counting” in 2009 after the birth of Jordyn-Grace Makiya Duggar and “19 Kids & Counting” after the birth of Josie Brooklyn Duggar in 2010.

The “19 Kids & Counting” parents Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar are devout Independent Baptists. Their fourth child Jill Dillard, who married Derick Dillard on June 21, 2014, gave birth to her first child Israel David Dillard on April 6.

This makes Meredith Grace Jim Bob and Michelle’s fifth grandchild. The fifth “19 Kids & Counting” child Jessa Dillard, who married Ben Seewald on Nov. 1, 2014, is also expected to give birth to her first child on Nov. 1

Meredith Grace is the first to not have her birth documented by camera crews among Josh and Anna’s four children. This was because filming on the “19 Kids & Counting” series had been suspended since TLC pulled reruns in May amid the molestation scandal involving Josh.

A day before the birth of Meredith Grace, Jim Bob turned 50. The “19 Kids & Counting” patriarch celebrated his 50th birthday celebration two days before the official announcement of TLC that it was cancelling the show.

On July 16, TLC released an official statement confirming that “19 Kids & Counting” will no longer appear on the air. The statement said both the network and the Duggar family have decided to not move forward with the family reality series.

In the statement, TLC also announced that they are working on a one-hour documentary, which will include Josh’s sisters Jill and Jessa along with “other survivors and families that have been affected by abuse.”
