With Activision finally posting its financial call, it seems "Destiny" has seen bright days following its release. Following the slew of negative reviews about the shooter game, it was revealed there is still much to be celebrated about for its new title.

The Wall Street Journal reports "Destiny" has registered 9.5 million players who average around three hours per day. Though the report did not settle any figures related to sales, it did mention "Destiny" has met expected sales and earnings, so far, in the game.

Over at Bungie headquarters, the developer has just released a new blog post, this time to discuss another new useful website for "Destiny" fans. Before, it had featured the "Destiny" Tracker, which was created by Bungie fans to provide the community with quality statistics to help them through their Guardians' journey.

The new useful website is DestinyPublicEvents.com, which, as the name implies, it is the go-to site for all things Public Event-related. According to the creators of the site, it a site where other Guardians can actually help in maintaining a well-informed circuit for all other guardians to also be up-to-date.

"If Guardians want to help keep the system accurate, they can help by clicking the 'Thumbs Up' Icon as soon as a Public Event starts!" said DestinyPublicEvents.com.

While this may sound like a slightly crowd-sourcing type of website more than a go-to for actual events, it seems the interaction of fans is more of a refinement mechanism to ensure accuracy of the public events.

For now, this is the main function of the "Destiny" Public Events website, but the creators already have plans on adding new features to help more Guardians. As early as now, however, an app of the "Destiny" Public Event Timer is already out for Android. There is no version for the iOS as of this writing.

This app is worth downloading as it's a valuable resource for those who are not always in front of their consoles. According to The Gamer With Kids, the app only lacks the banner ads in the website, but overall, navigation is very user-friendly. Now those interested can check up on "Destiny" public events while on the commute so they can go straight to their console to play once they get home.

For those who want a one-stop website that contains an expansive range of information about "Destiny," this may be that stop. From "Destiny" Grimoire cards to the details on the different Crucible playlists to Strikes and zones, this is a fairly comprehensive site that provides most information that would usually be scattered all over the Internet.

"The goal of this site is to have simple browsing of great Destiny content without a lot of fuss," said the destinygrimoire.com homepage.
