Aside from the highly anticipated "Plants vs. Zombies 2," you can expect a bevy of franchises that go beyond the upcoming iOS free-to-play game, as different merchandise are now popping everywhere to complement the game--or rather pre-empt it and bring up the hype even more.

PopCap Games is certainly taking its time with the beta testing, but given its latest word on their YouTube Channel, it may not be long before you start enjoying "Plants vs. Zombies 2"--if you are not already doing so.

Here are five of the hottest merchandise products that you can avail of and enjoy while waiting.

Wall Graphics

From Walls 360 and promoted by "Plants vs. Zombies" itself, you can get these wall graphics, which are basically high-resolution stickers that are perfect for decorating walls. It can easily be removed and reused, without having to worry about leaving marks on your walls.

What's more, you can choose from an array of characters from the cast of "Plants vs. Zombies 2." You have the usual plants, like the Sunflower, the Pea Shooter and the Cherry Bomb, and also the new plants, such as the Coconut Cannon, the Snapdragon, the Bonk Choy and the Bloomerang.

For the zombies, the video showcases zombies from the three different worlds, with cowboys, pirates, mummies, and explorer zombies, ripe for the picking, sticking, and re-sticking to decorate the walls in your home.

Vinyl Toys

Collectors at heart will love this 5-inch vinyl toys from creator Funko. Taking the plants and the zombies from video game to standalone figures that you can pose on your desk, Funko makes your love of "Plants vs. Zombies" pop out.

Currently, the line has five available figures: the Pea Shooter, the Sunflower, the Regular Business Casual zombie, the Disco zombie, and the Conehead zombie, all of which are in the first installment of the game.

Plants vs. Zombies Flats

Who says the PvZ craze has to stick with toys and games? For the ladies, there's also a way for you to incorporate the franchise into your own everyday style.

Also retweeted by "Plants vs. Zombies," NerdStyle on Etsy is currently selling "Plants vs. Zombies" flats--in glitter. The image showcases the green glitter flats that don't only have the game name but also little plants and zombies peeking along the side.

Sabrina Hargis, the owner of NerdStyle, has been in the business of creating personalized, geeky glitter shoes, with some of her other products ranging from Boba Fett glitter flats, Harry Potter shoes, Trekkie shoes, Doctor Who shoes, and even Batman flats--basically covering most of the geeky franchises that you can think of.

The "Plants vs. Zombies" craze also took over cakes, and there have been a lot of specially-designed fondant cakes that feature plants and zombies in a colorful array.

Singapore-based Celebrate with Cake! has a number of designs for the "Plants vs. Zombies" cakes, mainly following the game's grid-like structure. Sometimes you can also order to have the house and a lawnmower as a background and added detail. But what is more fun is that you can customize the plants and zombies that you want to include.

The plants that have been featured in the blog include the Sunflower, Pea Shooter, Potato Mine, Wall Nut, Cherry Bomb, Kernel Pult, Snow Pea, and the Sun-Shroom.

Aside from cakes, cupcakes and candies are also a fad when it comes to the "Plants vs. Zombies" franchise, especially with online businesses that go after special themes for parties and gatherings.

Amigurumi

Who says crochet is only for knitted jackets and scarves? A cool way to show off your love for "Plants vs. Zombies" is through amigurumi or a crocheted toy that takes its roots from the Japanese art of knitting stuffed animals.

Currently, "Plants vs. Zombies" official Twitter has found a cool creator on Etsy by the name of Aradiya, who is currently selling four types of "Plants vs. Zombies" amigurumi: the Cactus, the Pea Shooter, the Snow Pea, and the Sunflower.
