Before Andy Murray turns his entire focus to the hard courts of Washington, Montreal and Cincinnati, he has taken time off to tour the White House as seen on his social media posts. Murray took to Instagram to share snaps of his recent visit to the White House.

“Got the chance to visit the White House yesterday,” the World No. 3 Scot captioned his photo on Instagram. “Was a very cool experience, unfortunately President Obama wasn’t there.”

In another post, Murray shared a photo of a sniper on top of the roof of the West Wing, also known as the Executive Office Building. It is where the Oval Office, the Cabinet Room, the Situation Room and the Roosevelt Room can be found.

Following his semifinal loss to Roger Federer at the 2015 Wimbledon Championships in front of a home crowd, the Scot played amazing tennis during Great Britain’s tie against France that booked the Brits a place in the last four of 2015 Davis Cup. Murray now competes at the ATP World Tour event in Washington 2015 Citi Open. It is part of Murray’s tournaments leading up to the last grand slam of the season at the U.S. Open, where he is aiming to win a second title after winning in 2012.

Murray is the top seed at the 2015 ATP Citi Open . He is joined by Japanese Kei Nishikori and reigning U.S. Open champion Marin Cilic in the tournament. Other players included in the draw are 2015 Wimbledon semifinalist Richard Gasquet, Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov, and Australian No. 1 Bernard Tomic. Canadian Milos Raonic chose not to defend his title at the Citi Open this year.

The 28-year-old two-time grand slam champion received a bye into the second round. He will face the winner of the match between Teymuraz Gabashvili and Benjamin Becker.
