Apple to enhance new MacBook Air 2016 with Retina display
Apple keeps mum on the laptop's release date
There’s new word suggesting Apple might launch the MacBook Air 2016 on Christmas but there are other conflicting launch opinions about the much-awaited device.
The former prediction comes from Yibada while the latter is being pushed by Australia Network News, which is convinced the the MacBook Air will launch in spring 2016. To date, however, Apple hasn’t given any word as regards to when the 2016 models of the MacBook will make their way into the tech market.
Consumers expect the MacBook Air to feature a Retina display similar to the one in the Retina MacBook Pro laptops. Although there was a new MacBook Air model, it didn’t have the much awaited Retina display. It did, however, come out as an ultra thin, ultra light laptop with a high resolution screen display.
That said, consumers strongly believe the Cupertino tech leader will improve the next generation MacBook Air 2016 with a Retina display, as Mac World pointed out.
With the device’s release date being kept under wraps, the media is spouting all sort of specs likely to be featured on the units. Word has it the MacBooks 2016 will feature Intel’s new Skylake-U chip sets that aren’t in production yet.
If this info turn out to be true, previous reports about the MacBook Air 2016 being released this Christmas are wrong. There are also hints Apple might use is new A10X processor on the MacBook Air. But let’s wait and see.
