It is a well-known fact that Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models come with a camera that juts out slightly from the surface. However it turns out, Apple is not very pleased with the protruding camera unit in its otherwise impressive handset. Hence, Apple reportedly employed a slew of photographic illusions, garnished with software edits to get the perfect look. Apparently, when the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus handsets are viewed from the sides, the camera doesn't pop out anymore.

Interestingly, the doctored images are sourced from none-other-than Apple's official website. Speaking of size, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 comes with a thickness of 6.9 mm, whereas the 5.5-inch handset is 7.1 mm thick. Evidently, in order to accommodate the requirement of thinner profile, the iPhone 6 camera has taken a blow. Hence the camera unit is jutting out to a small extent. This blink-and-you-miss-it aberration is not going to make the die-hard Apple fans opt for a Samsung device. However, Apple seems to be cautious with every move and will leave no stones unturned to sell its device, opines Phone Arena.

Furthermore, if reports are true, the demand for the iPhone 6 is sky-high that Apple may not be able to cater to all in a timely manner. And this trend is likely to continue in November as well. Even though the humungous demand is nothing new in the history of Apple, potential buyers are spoilt with two killer screen-size choices this year. This interest translated into demand in the form of pre-orders. Apple gobbled down an epic 4 million orders within 24 hours of opening the pre-order window, says GSM Arena.

It is worth noting that, walk-in stores/retailers in the U.S will start offering the iPhone 6 handsets on Sept. 19, i.e., coming Friday. Even though the 4.7-inch model will be in stock, there is no official word on the availability of the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus phablet at this point, says the same publication.

Lastly, earlier rumours pointed out that the bigger iPhone 6 Plus will come with a 2 GB of RAM, which is unlike Apple. However, now, Phone Arena confirmed that the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 variant also comes with the same 1 GB of RAM.
