Apple iPhone 7: Refreshed design will result in axing of antenna bands and camera hump
The Apple iPhone 7 is expected to be announced in September this year, and already the rumour mill is churning new information by the day about the upcoming and much anticipated device. Fresh speculations suggest that the iPhone 7 will be arriving with a refreshed design that will result in the removal of antenna bands and the camera hump.
According to Mac Rumors, a reliable source has revealed that the iPhone 7 will not appear entirely different from the iPhone 6S smartphone, but is expected to arrive with two significant changes to its design.

The first one is that the iPhone 7 will not be featuring a camera hump for its rear shooter. The iPhone 6S as well as the older iPhone 6 both feature protruding cameras. The iPhone 7 Plus is expected to house a dual-camera system but the iPhone 7 is rumoured to feature a conventional camera that is expected to lay flat on its chassis.
The other design modification that will be seen on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus smartphones is the removal of antenna lines from the rear panel. This will enable the iPhone 7 models to sport a neater appeal. The antenna bands that are present on the edges and at the top and bottom will remain unchanged.
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus smartphones are also expected to carry support for wireless charging. Rumours have also been suggesting that the successor smartphones for the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus will not feature a 3.5 mm audio jack. In order to listen to music, users will have to connect a wired headset to the Lightning port or instead make use of a Bluetooth headset.
In March, Apple is expected to introduce a new 4-inch smartphone called the iPhone 5se. It will be launched as an upgraded version of the iPhone 5S with a full-metallic design. It is expected to come with specs like Apple A9, 1 GB of RAM, NFC, Wi-Fi, and support for Live Photos.
