Apple iPhone 8 news & update: Wireless charging technology, waterproof build & 3D camera could be included
The hype surrounding the Apple iPhone 7 has not even died down and fans are already speculating about the company’s 2017 iPhone release that could be called the iPhone 8. Users are expecting a mobile wonder as they feel Apple would release only the best as it would be the flagship phone’s 10th anniversary.
Reports suggest Apple will introduce notable changes to the device and include an AMOLED screen and wireless charging technology. The iPhone 8 could be made of ceramic material as aluminium cannot be improved further.
Moreover, Apple is already making a watch with ceramic material. Hence, fans believe the iPhone 8 could well be made of ceramic. The tech giant will be looking to maximise its technology, now that the AirPods are also on their way and launching in October.
AMOLED technology could be coming to the Apple iPhone 8 in 2017. There may also be a boost in resolution for the 5.5-inch and 4.7-inch models. But for the OLED display, a third screen size could be in the works, reports BGR.
The intelligent Home button will be incorporated in the iPhone 8 screen. Apple will also be perfecting the technology that can identify the differences between the Home button taps and 3D Touches for delivering the accurate response. The fingerprint sensor would also be included in the screen.
According to YIBADA, fans were disappointed as iPhone 7 did not include the wireless charging feature. Moreover, the Cupertino-based company has been hinting at a wireless future for its gadgets. The dual-lens camera in Apple iPhone 8 can also pave way for exciting new features and even a 3D camera.
Apple iPhone 7 is water-resistant and not waterproof. Thus, it is highly likely that the iPhone 8 may be either made waterproof or its water-resisting technology could be greatly improved.
One reason why the wireless charging is a sure-thing for Apple iPhone 8 is the exciting Apple W1 chip that are in the AirPods. It’s a wireless chip made by Apple. This shows, a Wi chip for charging the phone and the headphone is already being developed by Apple.
