Apple’s MacBook 12 Inch Vs. MacBook Pro 13 Inch Vs. MacBook Air 13 Inch
The year 2015 experiences overwhelming new Apple devices and affluent updates for the current versions, including the Smartwatch, the MacBook in 12 inch, updated version for music making software – Logic Pro, updates on MacBook Air and new version for MacBook Pro 13 inch laptop. Deciding to buy an Apple laptop may be easier, but which MacBook is the million dollar question.
Unfortunately, Apple has not designed and developed every MacBook with similar features rather each model and each version has its upsides and downsides. The final decision involves multiple factors like checking the preferable features, portability and the budget.
Outdated MacBooks
Even though the stores display the outdated, MacBook pro 13 inch, MacBook Air 11 inch and MacBook Pro with Retina 15 inch, we shall candidly get them axed. The MacBook Pro with Retina 15 inch is a bit gigantic and the MacBook Air 11 inch is too small for a laptop and propelled with poor hard drive and lacklustre 1,366x768 resolution. Naturally, both of them are considered outdated.
Real contest
The CNET writers call MacBook 12 inch as an engineering marvel, for its cutting edge technology, feather-weight, wafer-thin and fanless features, yet it foregoes certain irreplaceable features like the common ports to connect with peripherals and the mainstream processor, Core i5. However, in terms of storage capacity, with the same $1,299 investment, you get 256GB for MacBook and 128GB SSD for MacBook Pro 13 inch.
Meanwhile, Apple MacBook Air has been in the market for several years, it has been able to lead the crowd, even though it has comparatively lower resolution and wide bezel in the screen. It just costs $999 and is one of the reasons for its success. It also has record break battery power with 18 hours of video playback and 10 hours of online streaming.
