"Assassin's Creed Unity" may take open-world into a whole new description in the next-gen level of gaming. The new trailer released by Ubisoft, seen below, acknowledges the different ways to play the game.

"Black box missions are open-ended assassination missions where we present you the target, we invite you to explore the environment and find opportunities, and we just let you use the imagination try to solve it the way you want to solve it," Alex Amancio, creative director for 'Assassin's Creed Unity, said in an interview via Ubisoft Blog.

This will allow players to go through "Assassin's Creed Unity" with their own gameplay style and make use of their skills the way they want to, in order to complete the missions. This makes every gameplay as original as possible, because it all depends on the player.

Beyond the black box missions, there are also smaller mod missions, which is where the player can change the mechanics of a mission. It's like finding a way to up the ante for your mission or to give you an advantage that would be uniquely yours.

Lastly, the Brotherhood Missions are also black box missions, so that the missions can be re-playable to provide a different view for each time you play it. This makes "Assassin's Creed Unity" a very open-world experience.

It appears that "Assassin's Creed Unity" is a way to bring the series back to its most basic essence, where you need to do more than just act and attack your opponents-you can plan out how you want to take them out, reports GameNGuide. This kind of gameplay style has far changed after a few more installations in the series, but with the open-world for "Assassin's Creed Unity" now bleeding into the gameplay styles themselves, the developer has aimed to blow the assassin's world into a far more open territory.

Assassin's Creed is slated to release on the PS4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 11 in North America and Nov. 13 in EMEA territories. More than the game, "Assassin's Creed" also has a movie slated to come out starring actor Michael Fassbender. But the movie may need an entire year of delay before it can be expected to hit theaters.

GameSpot reports that the "Assassin's Creed" movie will need more rewrites on top of scheduling issues that may delay the actual production. In fact, the only cast that has been confirmed is Michael Fassbender. More news are expected to be revealed later on.
