‘Assassin’s Creed Unity’ And ‘Rogue’ Updates: More Revealed For Co-Op, Collector’s Edition And Possible PC Debut
When you have a team of assassins roaming around France in "Assassin's Creed Unity," you can imagine the kind of dangerous situations that will present itself--and this is what awaits the co-op experience. Ubisoft has recently released a new trailer showing off the multiplayer action in "Assassin's Creed Unity."
You can choose to play in groups of two or four, but for the players, you wll still be playing as Arno in your game while your companion will be played by randomly generated members of the Brotherhood.
The experience seems very exciting when playing alongside other assassins, but it would be interesting to see how this would play out in the actual game. The trailer is really more of a cinematic approach, probably mixed with some of the scenes from the game.
"However you choose to play, 'Assassin's Creed Unity' will give you the tools, skills and gear to customize your own Arno as you see fit," Ubisoft said over the Ubisoft Blog. "Assassin's Creed Unity" is coming out to the PS4, Xbox One and PC on Nov. 11.
Collector's Item Shown Off For 'AC Unity'
A collector's item for "Assassin's Creed Unity" has been spotted at Dell Store by GameSpot, but there seems to be a pricing error, considering that it's priced at $60. According to the source, the "Assassin's Creed Unity" collector's edition contains two bonus in-game missions, an official soundtrack, the AC artbook, a 16-inch Arno figurine and a music box.
The same edition is priced at $130 in other retailers, but it is not clear whether or not the discount price really stands or if it will be changed afterward. Still, there are a number of other preorder bonuses for "Assassin's Creed Unity" that players can enjoy.
"Assassin's Creed Rogue" To Get PC?
"Assassin's Creed Rogue" is not one to be left out. Ubisoft's AC title that's supposed to come out only for the last-gen consoles PS3 and Xbox 360 may now be coming to the PC.
While nothing has been confirmed as of yet, there is talk of a PC version from "Assassin's Creed Rogue" associate producer Karl Von Der Luhe who acknowledged a fan's request for the version of the title to appear on the PC. According to Load the Game, Ubisoft seems to be willing to consider.
"The game is being developed for 360 and PS3; we've heard a lot of response requesting a PC version, so we'll be looking into that very soon," Der Luhe said to Load the Game.
"Assassin's Creed Rogue" will have similar factors and gameplay as "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag" and will serve as a transition title to "Assassin's Creed Unity." This means that there will be naval exploration, as opposed to the title coming to next-gen console, which will go back to the basics of "Assassin's Creed" stealth.
