‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron' Star Aaron Taylor-Johnson Thinks Chris Hemsworth Is 'A God'
During a series of questions about his role as Quicksilver in “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” Aaron Taylor-Johnson also revealed his favourite male Avenger among Iron Man, Captain America and Hulk. The actor said he prefers Thor more than anyone else simply because of Chris Hemsworth’s physique.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson told Screen Rant during an interview that Chris Hemsworth fits his role as a god in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” Acting skills aside, from portraying the role of Thor in the sequel, Johnson thinks Chris Hemsworth is godlike in his physical form. “The only one that is essentially otherworldly superhero physique is Hemsworth,” he said.
Johnson noted the size of Chris Hemsworth's arms and said it’s practically comparable to the size of his thighs. “You kind of think that, just to be the kind of be an actor and transform your physique and body to that kind of level, and essentially he’s a god, and he’s 6 foot what… 4,” he added.
Additionally, what makes Chris Hemsworth godlike aside from his great physique is also his personality. Aaron Taylor-Johnson revealed that the Australian actor is also a “great guy” and a good person to work with. “I mean everyone is charming and brilliant and a lot of fun but you look around the room and that guy is definitely, you know, a superhero,” he further explained.
For Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chris Hemsworth surpasses all the other male Avengers in “Age of Ultron.” The actor thought without the Hulk, Bruce Banner is just like a scientist. The same goes for Tony Stark, who without his Iron Man suit is reportedly not a superhero. However, when asked whether Hemsworth would win a foot race with the other cast members, Johnson claimed there’s a chance the actor would lose because of his weight. Meanwhile, Johnson as Quicksilver said he would definitely win since he will be super fast.
Portraying the role of Quicksilver, a mutant who possesses superspeed power, in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” has been reportedly an exhilarating experience for the actor. The actor admitted during an interview with IGN that filming for his scenes was a lot of fun even while he was strapped to a running machine to test his running speed.
