If there are brand new powers that 'The Avengers' would be proud to announce today, that is it will be shown in 3D format by the Walt Disney Studios as it hits the big screen by May 4.

In fact, this is not the only major superhero film by 2012 which will be shown in 3D. There will be the rest like 'The Amazing Spider-Man' by July 3.

Directed and written by Joss Whedon, 'The Avengers 3D' stars Chris Evans coming back as Captain America, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Hemsworth again as Thor, Mark Ruffalo asBruce Banner, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, the half brother of Thor, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man and of course, the much awaited Scarlett Johansson as the Black Widow.

According to Dave Hollis, the chief of distribution for Disney predicts the upcoming film to be an amazing phenomenon. The very first trailer of 'Avengers' was shown last middle of October.

All the fans out there will surely be thrilled with seeing all their favourite superheroes come alive in those trendy amazing dimensions.
