Who would ever think that Taylor Swift would be as controversial as this? It has been the headlines of some recent news that her latest CoverGirl ad of a NatureLuxe Mousse Mascara has been pulled out due to what a group of ad industry critics noticed it has - Extreme Photoshopping.

It was Procter & Gamble who pulled out their own mascara ad when it was noticed by the group called The National Advertising Division. The group was impressed with the positive and speedy response of P&G and issued a statement that says below:

"it has determined that the Procter & Gamble Company acted properly in discontinuing superior performance claims made in print advertising by the company for its CoverGirl NatureLuxe Mousse Mascara."

It was just the group's intention to make the claims about the mascara still realistic for the buyers. Representative Brent Miller of P&G and CoverGirl explains their side that all their teams in advertising work closely with experts and scientists on such beauty products to portray accurately the benefits and claims that it will render to its customers.

So it became no problem for the company to pull out the ad as soon as they learned that the group as big as NAD had issues about it.
