'The Hobbit' Comes Around To Bring The Prequel of 'Lord of the Rings'
The teaser of the 'Hobbit' may be just be a two minute online trailer but it was full of the classic misty mountains and the little adventurers that would reassure every faithful fan of the "Lord of the Rings" that everything is back on track and will be all set to arrive by next Christmas season.
It follows the adventures of the very humble Bilbo Baggins who joins a band of dwarves to pursue a mission of reclaiming what is known to be the treasure of their ancestors. It worried a lot of fans especially with the numerous delays that happened in the first part of its starting process. The original director also backed out due to numerous holdups to the film.
The film is co-produced by MGM and New Line with a working budget reportedly around $300 million. It stars Martin Freeman for Bilbo and other actors that would reprise their roles straight from the trilogy like Ian McKellen, Orlando Bloom, Cate Blanchett, and Andy Serkis as Gollum.
It supporting cast is also composed of a wide spread of great talent with Stephen Fry being the Master of Laketown. The trailer released will give you an idea that this movie will centre around the dwarves apparently. This aims thought to render a much better springboard to the other adventures shown in the 'Lord of the Rings' and offers a more extensive and comprehensive rewrite to match what has been discussed in the books more closely.
One thing is for sure: the trailer gives you a feeling that Peter Jackson has finished it and has done a good job, as always.
