The three final contestants of the recent season of 'The X Factor' gave it their all and pretended to not act starstruck as they got to duet with three of the biggest names in the music industry: Avril Lavigne, R. Kelly and Alanis Morissette.

The three contestants namely Melanie Amaro, Chris Rene and Josh Krajcik had a chance to show off the best that they have got left to win it with two final performances, as the entire show closes with such star power.

Josh Krajcik who appeared to be an underdog for the show gave his own version of Morissette's 'Uninvited' as he gets his way around the stage with the Alanis getting the solid attention of the audience. Simon Cowell thought that Josh was intimidated at the start but L.A. Reid said that it was 'surreal.'

Chris Rene came up the stage with Avril Lavigne enjoying her own hit song 'Complicated' with touches of rap. Nicole Scherzinger said that the performance of the former trash collector was a bit shaky at the start but it eventually became infectious as it was nearing the end.

But above all, it was Melanie Amaro who emerged as the beautiful star of the three that night. She got to sing 'I Believe I Can Fly' with the original singer of the song himself, R.Kelly. She finished off the night with all judges giving a standing ovation for her rendition of 'Listen' for her second song choice.

For Simon, his mentee, Melanie, should be the winner of the show.
