Rocksteady's final take on the Arkham series title, "Batman: Arkham Knight" has now been given a new launch date after an indefinite delay. Now, fans can expect "Batman: Arkham Knight" to debut on retail in Jun. 2, 2015.
This definitely disconfirms previous leaks and speculations where the game has been pegged to an early January or February release. Some fans have expected the game to be mildly delayed for fine-tunings, but in actuality, the developers were aiming for a half a year delay.
As far as the story goes, IGN reports that there already has been a number of villains teased to arrive in "Batman: Arkham Knight," including the main stay Scarecrow, The Riddler, Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, the last of which is playable via a DLC that comes with any preorder. In addition, there is also the ever-elusive but strongly presented Arkham Knight, the titular character whose identity continues to be debated upon by fans as Rocksteady keeps his real face close to the chest.
In fact, the latest update on the possible identity of the Arkham Knight comes from an inside scoop of GamesTM with Rocksteady's lead character artist Albert Feliu, who has detailed some of parts of the Arkham Knight's costume as being vital to the way that he will face-off with the caped crusader.
Metro also reports that Rocksteady has not yet given any reasons for the delay apart from stating that the game will not yet be finished by the original launch date set for this year. however, alongside the announcement of the finalized release date, two collector's edition sets for "Batman: Arkham Knight has also been showcased.
The first is the "Batman: Arkham Knight" Limited Edition, which features the Limited Edition SteelBook, an 80-page Custom Art Book featuring concept art of the title, a limited edition DC "Batman: Arkham Knight" comic book #0, an exclusive character skin pack with three unique skins from "The New 52" comic and a Batman memorial statue. All of these is sold at £89.99 on the PS4 and Xbox one and £79.99 on the PC.

This edition will set you back £169.99 and it is only available for the PS4 and Xbox One.
