‘Batman Arkham Knight’ PS4 Trailer And Resolution, New Screenshots Featured
The exclusive PS4 bundle for “Batman: Arkham Knight” was announced last week. Here fans were treated to a glimpse of not only the silver console marked with Batman’s shadowed profile, but also some exclusive PS4 content. Now, if those were not enough to entice players who are still looking to buy a PS4, Sony has released a new teaser trailer for what comes with the limited edition bundle.
According to DualShockers, the limited edition bundle is priced at $449.99, Apart from some PS4 footage of the game, the trailer also shows that the “Batman: Arkham Knight” PS4 console also comes in black. The black bundle, however, does not include the Batman profile, as it is not a limited edition. Rather, it’s the plain black PS4 bundled with “Batman: Arkham Knight.”
The PlayStation Blog has also given an update to fans in Canada who may want to avail of the limited edition PS4 console. It will be sold at $549.99, with the original non-limited “Batman: Arkham Knight” bundle at $499.99. The bundles will also come with “The Last of Us Remastered” digital voucher code and a three-month PlayStation Plus subscription.
Apart from the new PS4 limited edition trailer, Sony has also revealed that “Batman: Arkham Knight” will run at 1080p native on the PS4. Gamingbolt spotted this via the product page at the PlayStation Store. Considering the size of the world and the addition of the Batmobile, this is definitely a good way for Rocksteady to end the trilogy of the Arkham series.
The developer has not yet officially announced the resolution for “Batman: Arkham Knight,” which could make it subject for change. So far, there are no confirmations for the Xbox One or P version yet, so it’s best to still wait for the official announcement before the release date on June 2.
In the meantime, the developer has teased a few new screenshots of the game. Over at the official Batman Arkham Twitter page, there are some new screenshots of the PS4 limited edition “Batman: Arkham Knight” console and some in-game screenshots. The images can be seen in the link above, though as a taste, some of them include Batman in an aerial attack, The Riddler’s deadly challenge, an aerial view of Gotham with the Dark Knight’s glide move, Harvey Dent as Two Face and Gotham under attack.
