The awaited origin story and third game in the Batman Arkham series, "Batman: Arkham Origins" has a lot in store, and creators WB Bros Montreal have a lot of teasers before the Oct. 25 release date.

Before the game comes out, and gamers finally get to know the real story behind Origins, here are some of the features and apps that you can expect once the game hits. It will be a pretty load game, with DLCs, multiplayer modes, a collector's item, and a playable app.

Season Pass: of Costumes and a Story Campaign?

When fans heard that most of the five-piece expansion for "Batman: Arkham Origins," it seemed that it may not be worth buying the Season Pass after all. But in an interview with IGN, game producer Guillaume Voghel revealed that there is more in store for the game.

"One of the items we can't talk about yet... we'll just wait for the gamers to really see what the entire package contains. It's going to be a big deal," said Voghel to IGN.

The other DLC packs include Gotham by Gaslight Batman and Brightest Day Batman Skin, Infinite Earth Skins Pack, Arkham Origins Initiation, New Millennium Skins Pack and an all-new story campaign. Perhaps the last piece of expansion will be what fans should be waiting for as per Voghel's comment.

In the same report, the developers have also clarified that, even with the upcoming Superman and Batman tandem movie coming up, there may not be any tie-ups with the movie in order to keep the core of the story intact.

"It's really something independent; it's in a world of its own and it's a franchise we want to focus on only through video games," said Voghel.

Multiplayer Puts You in Gang Fights

As for the multiplayer of "Batman: Arkham Origins," you can choose to be the heroes as Batman or Robin or be part of either Joker's or Bane's gangs. Gamerant reports that you will all be in the Blackgate Prison, and the thug crossfights as well as stealth and takedowns will let you experience the game in a varied manner.

You can choose to either fight for the bad guys (as one of the thugs of the two bosses) or fight against crime as either of the Dynamic Duo. But the catch is that you will be able to switch roles, so that everyone gets to be in the shoes of the different characters.

According to GameStop, this device takes the design of the signature gadget and recreates it as an 11-inch weapon. It has 1 articulated hook attachment and a motorize spool that allows the rope to extend and retract.

The battery-powered device is already available for preorder, and can only be obtained via online order.

The Blackgate Game Up Close

To extend the game beyond the console, a "Batman: Arkham Origins" Blackgate game has also been developed by those at Warner Bros. Montreal. And according to Capsule Computers, it may be a direct sequel of the original game.

For now, the developers are keeping the story of the game pretty close to the vest, particularly because any detail would immediately give away the story of the actual game. The only detail here is that it will take place a few months after "Batman: Arkham Origins." In addition, it will also take you back to Blackgate Prison (hence the app name).
