“Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” may include a scene that gives some background information of a prominent dead character in the movie. The scene may also pave the way for introducing a major villain from the comic books in the future. A new report contains potential spoilers for the upcoming movie and also the movie “Suicide Squad.” [Spoiler alert]
Jason Todd, a comic book character who became the second Robin, may be introduced in “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” According to a report by El Mayimbe on his Instagram account, the upcoming movie will feature a scene where a Robin costume can be seen in the Batcave. The Instagram user describes himself as a journalist and “scoop predator.” Readers are advised to treat the report as a rumour at this time.
The report goes on to state that Jason Todd is dead in the upcoming movie and his death will be a factor in the estranged relationship between the Joker and Harley Quinn in “Suicide Squad.” Quinn apparently feels guilty about the death of Jason, implying that the two villains had a role in his death.
The popular comic book villain Red Hood is said to be a “priority character for DC,” according to the report. In the comic books, Jason Todd becomes Red Hood after differences between him and Batman emerge. It is still unclear if the character will feature in “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” or if it’s only the costume scene that the fans will get to see in the movie.
The upcoming movie already has a range of superheroes/super villains. The cast of the movie includes Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and there is also the possibility of Ezra Miller joining the cast as The Flash.
Commenting on the report, many of the fans expressed their excitement about the possibility of seeing Red Hood in the future. The character is not reluctant to kill the villains in Gotham, unlike Bruce Wayne who prefers not to use deadly force. Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” to watch their favourite characters back in action.
